Dr. Acevedo is a native of the island of Puerto Rico. He completed his Anthropology undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras and a master’s degree in the same field at California State University Los Angeles, both with a specialty in Archeology. Later he went to the University of Western States in Portland, where he completed a bachelor in Human Biology, a masters in Sport Medicine and the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is also certified to do EMG/NCS and SSEP studies. He plans to add diagnostic ultrasound and pelvic floor PT .
Dr. Acevedo uses all the skills gained from his studies and experience growing up in Puerto Rico and living in the US to provide treatment that is specific to each patient, taking into consideration that there could be cultural element that may affect treatment. His goal is to, not only get patients better but to provide tools which they can later use in their day to day. In his free time, he likes to enjoy the outdoors, the gastronomic scene in Portland and the Pacific Northwest.

Focused on restoring movement to joints and providing relief.
Therapeutic Muscle Work and Modalities
We provided targeted muscle work to help achieve relief and decrease muscle tension. We also use PT modalities such as IFC and Heat to help in the recovery.
Therapeutic Exercise and Rehabilitation
These elements are important to prepare the body for the demands imposed on a daily basis.
Massage
Therapeutic massages that are focused on relieving pain and relaxing the body. We also use tools to relieve pain or other muscular complaint. We also use PT modalities such as IFC and Heat to relax the muscles.
EMG/NCS/SSEP Testing
Our provider is trained to be able to offer these diagnostic tests. These tests are great to help determine what type of nerve damage you may have. Ask your doctor how this can help you!
Auto Accident Care
Our goal is to help you get you back on track, to how you were before you had the auto accident!
