Dr. Acevedo is a native of the island of Puerto Rico. He completed his Anthropology undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, and a master’s degree in the same field at California State University, Los Angeles, both with a specialty in Archeology. Later, he went to the University of Western States in Portland, where he completed a bachelor’s in Human Biology, a master’s in Sport Medicine, and the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He completed a diplomate program for electrodiagnostic testing, looking to provide more services to his patients and those in the community.

Dr. Acevedo uses all the skills gained from his studies and experience growing up in Puerto Rico and living in the US to provide treatment that is specific to each patient, taking into consideration that there could be cultural element that may affect treatment. His goal is to, not only get patients better but to provide tools that they can later use in their day-to-day. In his free time, he likes to enjoy the outdoors, exercise, and enjoy what the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Zoee is the office support “staff” who gives love and attention to all our patients.
